The world is on fire.








I don't think there is anything so lovely around here right now as the changing autumn leaves. Every year my husband and I go for a joy ride down the Blue Ridge Parkway just to take it all in. I was "Oooooo-ing" and "Ahhhhhh-ing" the whole way. 

Kudos, Mother Nature, for yet another spectacular fall show.  You never fail to amaze me. Let's do this again sometime... say this time next year? I'll mark my calendar... I wouldn't miss it for the world.

  7. Beautiful photos! Since I'm living in FL now I don't get to see the spectacular changing leaves so I've loved (and been totally envious of) all of the photos bloggers have been posting and instagramming lately. That drive sounds like the perfect fall tradition!

  8. So lovely! My husband is from Lynchburg VA and he adores the Blue Ridge Parkway. He used to go on drives there all the time, and agreed that it was its most beautiful in the fall. He even considered proposing to me there, but chose New York instead....thanks for the photos! I'll have to show him.

All the photos are so awesome, but I must say I am a sucker for a lens flare (first photo) Sometimes I wish I lived a bit further north because while the colors are great in Alabama, they get increasingly amazing-er the more north you get... Thanks for sharing, now I've just gotta get motivated to post mine ^.^

  44. Everything is so photogenic right now! I was walking my bike through Harvard Square the other day so I could take pictures of all the trees. I felt a little silly trying to lean my bike against my leg while I took a million shots of the leaves, but it'll be gone before we know it, right?
