Chicago Sightseeing.

Chicago River.

The 'Corn Cob Buildings'.  Get it?  Get it?!!  A suitable nickname for sure!

Buckingham Fountain.  It's lit up at night in all kinds of colors.

Now THAT is a skyline.  Front and center is Navy Pier.  I've got a great post on that coming up tomorrow.

The Bean at Millennium Park.
(Isn't it funny how all kinds of random people end up in your vacation photos.)

To put things in perspective.

Boats on the river.  We took an Architectural River Boat Tour, which was fantastic.  I loved learning some of the history behind the buildings of the Chicago skyline.

Checking out Grant and Millennium Parks. There was a live orchestra playing as we walked by.

Simply beautiful.

Sky high cocktails.  Rather than paying for tickets to the touristy Observatory at the John Hancock Building, we decided to try out specialty drinks at the Signature Lounge. The views are breathtaking.  It's also where I snapped this fantastic photo.

Be sure to stop back by tomorrow, I'll show you around Navy Pier.  See you then!  :)
